I used to play golf, but I had no pull. I was a single handicapper and had plateaued. I was fixating on the wrong thing, hitting longer and longer. I broke a rib, mid swing, because I was trying so hard. I used to ride dirt bikes. Over three laps I was the fastest, but I was pushing too hard, got arm pump, faded, and broke bones again.
Now, whenever I talk sports with anyone I always end up talking about this because I wish I had a do over, where I went for pull instead of push. Where I rode many laps and let it come to me. Many laps at at 95 % instead of three at 101 %.
